Well, considering I wanted to be creative, I haven’t really added to this site now, have I.
Firstly to all, A Happy New Year. 2006 is upon us. The year the mighty Socceroos finally get a chance to show what they can do in the single greatest sporting tournament in the world…..
Last week I travelled to the top of Australia and spent five days in Cooma for a Leadership Training Conference. The entire week was centered around encouraging and teaching those who are in or thinking of becoming a Bible Study/Youth Group or holding some sought of leadership position within the Church.
The climate in Cooma is great to say the least. It still has its hot days BUT instead of staying hot at night, it sometimes got quite chilly which really helpped getting to sleep at night.
Unfortunately whilst away I missed the opportunity to travel to South Australia for the fires. This is a big deal for someone who has only been to two states his entire life and he lives on the border of them. (The ACT is not a state so it doesn’t count.)
Whilst on the fires, how low can someone be to steal from the firefighters who travelled to the Latrobe Valley to help with the fires there. I really hope they get caught and their punishment is to attend a fire armed only with a wet hanky… Well that’s how I feel anyway…
