What a joke the AFL is. When is a siren not a siren? When is a game over? For crying out loud; talk about moving the goalposts during the game.
To the AFL commission:
Why can’t you follow the laws of the game?I urge you to charge yourselves with bringing the game into disrepute for failing to support your umpires.Sure the timekeeper made a mistake but don’t the laws state that the game is over when the umpires say it is but now you have changed the rule by stealth. Why? Is it to protect yourselves from losing betting revenue?Why haven’t Cameron Schwab and Chris Connolly been charged for being on the ground?Why wasn’t a Fremantle player charged for making contact with an umpire?
To the Fremantle Dockers:
You claim that if the shoe was on the other foot you would have given the game to St.Kilda. Well Mr Connolly when you are sacked (and you will be sacked someday) you should take up stand-up comedy or even politics because that was the funniest lie I have ever heard.
Why write laws if you arn’t going to stick to them?
